Turbo Charge Smoothie Recipe

Recently while in Dubai on a trip to help get Food Matters into the Middle East, Laurentine and I stopped at a Juice Master bar in 'Dubai Mall'. We were with a local friend of ours who recommended the 'Turbo Charge' with Spirulina and who were we to disagree. Honestly after drinking this smoothie and upon returning home having made it ourselves every day for the past 5 days I can testify that this is possibly the best juice / smoothie recipe I have ever had.
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 1 stick celery
  • 1/2 small pineapple
  • handful of spinach leaves
  • 1/4 lime, peeled
  • 4 Golden delicious apples
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of Spirulina powder
  • Small handful of ice
Instructions: Juice the cucumber, celery, pineapple, spinach, lime and apples. Place juice and Spirulina in a blender with avocado and ice and blend for 45 seconds. Pour into a glass and enjoy! As per usual everything should be as fresh and organic as possible.

Juice Master is a company in the UK headed by Jason Vale, you can visit their website here: http://www.juicemaster.com/

LOVE Jason Vale! Try one of his retreats in Turkey. You get to be taken care of for one week with his juicy recipes, excercise and fun! I'm saving my money for one.
